What the hell is wrong with some people who use YouTube?
If you are a regular user or viewer of YouTube, you'll know that you are able to leave comments on each video as long as the account holder has enabled this function. YouTube is extremely popular, nearly everyone knows about it and millions of people use it every day. I would say that the majority of YouTube users are decent respectable folk, however there is a small minority who trawl YouTube videos just for the sake of leaving abusive antisocial messages.
Following the sad death of Red Arrows pilot, Jon Egging who crashed near Bournemouth yesterday, various videos have appeared on YouTube. I haven't looked at them all, however the first video I looked at both saddened and angered me so much. This video shows the death of a young 33-year-old man in his prime, yet people still feel the need to leave inappropriate messages containing abusive language under this very sad video. I just don't understand the mentality of these idiots, haven't they got any compassion at all? These brain-dead morons should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for behaving in such a manner. I know that a lot of these individuals probably don't see any harm in what they are doing, or they just don't care and think it's funny. I would just say to them "go and look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself honestly what sort of person you are and is your behaviour is acceptable and normal?"To a certain extent I blame YouTube, they are very quick to jump on people who use copyrighted music on their videos when really they are doing no harm. They should be paying more attention to stamping out and preventing abusive behaviour on their website, this is where the real harm is done. Do they care, I really doubt it very much, I think they are probably more worried about being sued by record companies, it's all about money at the end of the day.
