Uppertone | Tetraplegic Exercise Equipment

Uppertone exercise equipment

The only product of its kind, the UPPERTONE was designed and introduced in 1990 by a C4-C5 quadriplegic. It allows people with C4-C5 and below quadriplegia (tetraplegia) due to spinal cord injury to do all the necessary upper body exercises necessary for rehabilitation and maintenance, without any assistance. Indeed they can make all the adjustments, including resistance, without hand grip strength, cuffs, or assistance.
The UPPERTONE is now in use in spinal cord injury treatment centers, rehabilitation facilities, universities and colleges, and homes in more than twenty countries.
I first purchased an Uppertone in 1997. It didn't take very long for the results to start showing. In my opinion, this piece of equipment is an essential part of any tetraplegics rehabilitation and ongoing exercise regime. It not only helped me push my wheelchair easier, it also really helped me when it came to fishing. When you're fishing for large fish like carp, having that extra strength makes a huge difference. Nobody would argue that this piece of equipment is extremely expensive. However, how much money do you put on your health and well-being? If you do purchase the Uppertone, I can promise you that you will never regret it.

More information on the Uppertone and where to purchase it......
