One of my hobbies is the Oscar Fish. To be more precise keeping and caring for the Oscar Fish . The Oscar Fish is a South American Cichlid that originates from the Amazonian basin. It is very popular nowadays with people who keep tropical fish. The Oscar Fish can exceed 12 inches and does need to be kept in large aquariums with lots of filtration. Many people underestimate the importance of keeping these fish in the correct environment which is why they start having problems. Like many of us enthusiasts, I had frequented quite a few forums, including Oscarfish.com & the Oscarspot.com. However, I felt that these websites were lacking in various fields and I thought I could go one better than just having an online forum. In 2006 I set up a website called www.oscarfishlover.com which consists of all the information necessary for setting up an aquarium for you Oscar Fish, plus feeding it, keeping it healthy and just about everything else you will ever need to know. There is also an help and advice forum where you can shout for help if necessary. We have a membership which exceeds 4000 people at the time of writing (February 2010) . We have a lot of very experienced Oscar Fish enthusiasts that will answer any question you will ever have.
