Rising UK Fuel Prices Affecting Disabled Drivers

Fuel prices must come down

pennwooding sprinter van

I am a disabled driver, I drive a Mercedes sprinter van. I don't drive a vehicle of this size because I like big vans, I drive it because it's one of a handful of vehicles that are suitable for me to drive from my wheelchair. It costs me over £100 to fill the tank up on this Mercedes sprinter now the full prices are as high as they are. However, I am lucky, I can afford to run this van , unfortunately  there are plenty of other disabled people out there who must be struggling to keep their cars running.  We need our vehicles, we can't just jump on a bus, or get in a taxi, we depend highly on our cars more than most people will imagine. If a disabled person cannot afford to run his car because of the cost of fuel, they will have no alternative but to stay at home.

This is not fair, these fuel prices must come down to a reasonable level
